Our Caregivers

Everyone needs a little help from time to time

In a perfect world every person suffering from a long-term illness, recovering from an injury or dealing with the challenges of aging would have a network of family and friends to help with daily needs. Often, that simply isn't the case. Today's busy lifestyles means that family and friends don't have the time or resources to consistently care for a loved one at home. The need for dependable, caring and qualified private duty care presents daunting challenges for many people.

ComForcareSM has answers

We provide assistance with the activities of daily living including companionship, meal preparation, hands-on personal care and 24-hour supervision. A registered nurse or other licensed professional consults with the client and family, developing a personalized care plan. Then, highly trained ComForcare caregivers use that plan as a guide for the client's daily activities and care.

"I wanted to thank you for the personal attention you have given my father.  As you know, he is recovering from a spinal cord injury and has unique nursing needs.Your CNA was extremely attentive to my father's needs and certainly gave us some peace of mind for the evenings we could not be with him."

"I wanted to express my sincere thanks to you and your wonderful staff for the prompt attention you were able to arrange. Both you and the staff were extremely approachable in caring for my Mum's needs, all the way to her passing. All the care givers whom I have had the pleasure of working with were extremely qualified and very, very personable. Their caring nature and attitude were very much appreciated by my Mum, as well as the rest of the family. Again, thank you for the superb care which was rendered In times of illness, it is nice to know that caring professionals such as your organization exist, to help those of us who would be lost without your assistance."

""I just wanted to thank you for your very professional very caring services at a time of great stress for our family. We felt our mother was in very good hands, and also appreciate the time you took personally to insure a thorough initial evaluation for preparation of a care plan. Personally returning the first evening to introduce the sitter and insure a smooth start was further proof of the courteous attention we had come to expect."

"Thank you very much for contributing to the Harriet Jackson Fund in memory of my mother. Our family's goal was to keep my mom physically and mentally challenged. With your wonderful and caring support, we were able to do so. And by contributing to the my "grandmother's" fund, you have helped provide other seniors with opportunities to remain active. My mother was definitely a presence in our lives and her absence is strongly felt. Knowing that you are thinking of us during this time helps to ease our loss. Thank you for all your wonderful help."

"I'm writing to thank you and your staff for all of the help you provided while planning the relocation of my mother from Williamsburg to Charlotte. Frequent changes in my mother's condition required a great deal of flexibility on your part. I couldn't have been more pleased with ComForcare's ability to flex with, and even anticipate, our needs. More importantly, I greatly appreciate your sensitivity to the needs and emotions of my family as we maneuvered this situation. Your communication with us was frequent, flawless and uplifting. Needless to say, I am happy to recommend your services to my colleagues and friends, and have already done so!"

"Toward the end of my father's life, our family had need of home care services. ComForcare of Charlotte was a valuable resource during that time. They made every effort to accommodate us in a timely manner. Their caregivers were punctual, kind and competent. They made a difference during a very difficult period in our lives."

"My name is Rosalind Lewis and I am a new client for your senior care services. I recently met (your R.N.) last Friday. I must say I am impressed with the way she presented herself and Comforcare to me. Please let her know that she is on the right track because I don't get impressed easily. She is a real winner!

I've heard good remarks about your services from a social worker in the Carolinas Healthcare system. I have lots of healthcare and human services experience in addition to having a B.S. Degree in the field + additional credits towards a M.S. I have cared for more than a few family members with serious health problems. I had to interview caregivers and oversee the care of these persons. Now I need care for myself as I live alone and have many serious medical conditions to monitor. I won't settle for less than the best and with Comforcare Senior Services, I know I won't have to. Thank you for being there!

Mr. Koch I saw you along with Maryanne Daily of the B.B.B on the Ageing With Attitude program last night. Congratulations on your (Silver Torch) award. Once again, THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE!"
